Chipotle Night- Community members attended the special Chipotle fundraising event, where a portion of the proceeds from each meal purchased was donated to support HOSA's initiatives. This collaborative effort helped raise crucial funds to further the organization's mission and activities.

They also played an instrumental role in preparing all members for the HOSA Regional Leadership Conference (RLC), ensuring that we were well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to succeed.
October 16th, After-school
RLC Testing- All participants in the Regional Leadership Conference (RLC) who are competing in a testing event are required to attend an after-school session dedicated to testing preparation. This session will provide an opportunity to complete the necessary assessments and ensure readiness for the upcoming competition.

HOSA Blood Drive- All HOSA members were encouraged to participate in a vital blood donation drive, either by recruiting others or by donating blood themselves. This initiative aimed to support individuals battling life-threatening conditions, with the powerful impact of each donation being the potential to save up to three lives. By contributing to this cause, members demonstrated their commitment to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those in critical need.

HOSA RLC- All HOSA members who were selected to compete at the Regional Leadership Conference (RLC) gathered alongside students from various schools to showcase their skills and expertise in a diverse range of competitive events. These members participated in a series of challenging and dynamic competitions, each designed to test their knowledge and abilities in specific areas of healthcare and leadership. The event provided a valuable opportunity for networking, learning, and professional growth, as participants demonstrated their commitment to excellence in the field of healthcare." This year, we had 29 competitors place in the TOP 10! Thank you everybody for particpating!

Fall Festival- Students, faculty, and staff from the entire high school community were warmly invited to participate in a fun-filled event designed to promote engagement and support for HOSA. The event featured a variety of games and exciting opportunities to win prizes, all aimed at raising crucial funds for HOSA's initiatives. Through this collective effort, we hoped to foster school spirit while contributing to the continued success of HOSA's programs and activities.

Additionally, HOSA officers provided valuable insights and important updates regarding the upcoming State Leadership Conference (SLC), discussing key details and preparation strategies to ensure members are well-equipped for the event. It was an excellent opportunity to build connections and strengthen our collective commitment to HOSA's mission.

Movie Night- We organized a enjoyable movie night that provided an opportunity for HOSA members to unwind and relax in the company of friends, offering a much-needed break before the demanding and high-pressure events on the horizon. This casual gathering allowed everyone to recharge and enjoy a lighthearted evening together, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among members. It was a perfect way to de-stress and bond, ensuring that we are all mentally and emotionally prepared for the upcoming HOSA events that require our full dedication and focus.

Guest Speaker Event- A guest speaker was invited to deliver an informative presentation on the critical topics of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS). During the session, the speaker shared valuable knowledge and practical insights on the life-saving techniques of CPR, as well as the essential role of EMS in emergency situations. The presentation provided attendees with a deeper understanding of these vital skills and their importance in healthcare, highlighting how proper training and response can make a significant difference in saving lives. This opportunity allowed everyone to gain valuable expertise and knowledge that aligns with HOSA's mission of fostering future healthcare professionals.

HOSA SLC- The State Leadership Conference (SLC) is a prestigious event where students from across the state come together to participate in a variety of competitive events, showcasing their skills, knowledge, and expertise in healthcare-related fields. This highly anticipated competition brings together future healthcare professionals who demonstrate exceptional talent in areas such as medical knowledge, clinical skills, leadership, and community service. It provides a platform for students to challenge themselves, network with peers and industry professionals, and gain invaluable experience. The SLC serves as a significant milestone in the HOSA journey, allowing participants to refine their abilities and represent their schools with pride and professionalism.
