Horse Racing Form provide form ratings for over 25,000 racehorses running in the UK and Ireland.
The ratings are computer generated using code and algorithms which have been exclusively developed over the last 4-5 years and were initially launched as KwikForm Ratings. An initial classification is allotted to each race result which is then further adjusted to take into account race times and prior and subsequent form. As such, the ratings are dynamic and will change as form lines evolve.
The ratings, which are free and available to download, can be used to supplement your own evaluation of horse racing form, or perhaps as the basis for developing your own handicap ratings. Our downloads provide horse racing enthusiasts with form ratings and a wealth of supporting information for horses that have raced in the UK and Ireland since 2024/25 and cover Flat, All Weather and National Hunt Racing.
Our ratings provide a good start point when assessing a race and should always be used in conjunction with other factors, such as going, distance, course preferences, etc, which are also pinpointed via our downloads.
Ratings will typically be published on a weekly basis and, when time allows, we will provide midweek updates and ratings for the days meetings.

In 2024, one or other of the Top 2 Rated in each race have won approaching 4500# races during the year, in the UK and Ireland, hence an average of 10-15 winners are pinpointed each day, depending on the number of meetings. (# 4468 winners during 2024 up to and inc 29/12/24)
Analysis of over 17000 races in 2024/25 found that approaching 40% of all races were won by one or other of the top two rated in each race, over 50% of races were won by one or other of the top three rated. One or other of the top two rated were placed in around 70% of races.
We do not encourage or endorse gambling, other than for fun and enjoyment, and would always advocate that you bet responsibly and within your means.
