LESSON

• I had two interesting moments with Frea. First, there was a very special moment when I showed her her beauty and strength, and I felt that she truly received it. Later, she approached me and gave me genuine affection on her own initiative. That showed me how affectionate she can be, and that she not only wants to receive affection but also wants to give it.

• I realized that there is room to develop greater firmness and grounding — with more determination and clarity each time.

APRENDIZAJE

• Tuve dos situaciones interesantes con Frea. Primero, hubo un momento muy especial en el que le mostré su belleza y fuerza, y sentí que realmente lo recibió. Más tarde, ella se acercó y me dio un cariño genuino por iniciativa propia. Eso me mostró cuán cariñosa puede ser, y que no solo quiere recibir cariño, sino que también desea darlo.

• Me di cuenta de que hay espacio para desarrollar mayor firmeza y enraizamiento — con más determinación y claridad cada vez.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

• When I arrived, Flash and Frea stepped in between me and the horses on the other side of the fence, as if to protect me. Flash is taking on the leadership of the group, and Frea seems to act as his assistant. I greeted them both and thanked them for their protection. They understood. Then I stayed there, simply sharing my presence, observing whether that would help them stop fighting with the other horses. It seems Flash sensed it, because he stopped fighting.

• Flash gave me a bit more attention that day, although he didn’t seem interested in walking with me. I spent quite some time by his side while he ate, trying to untangle his mane, which was full of branches and knots. I had a very special moment of connection with Frea; I helped her see her own beauty and strength, and later I discovered how affectionate she can be—she caressed me with her head and made me sigh. I also spent a quiet moment with Mary; she received my touch with humility and gratitude. Luna didn’t come close, and I respected her space without insisting.

• When the group moved to the far end of the pasture and I followed them, I noticed that Mary, and then Luna, moved away from me. Then I saw Flash step in between me and them, as if trying to prevent me from getting closer. I didn’t understand why, but I chose to stay calmly nearby without interacting, waiting for them to relax.

DESTACADOS DE LA EXPERIENCIA

• Cuando llegué, Flash y Frea se interpusieron entre mí y los caballos del otro lado de la cerca, como para protegerme. Flash está asumiendo el liderazgo del grupo, y Frea parece actuar como su asistente. Saludé a ambos y les agradecí por la protección. Lo entendieron. Después me quedé ahí, simplemente transmitiéndoles mi presencia, observando si eso ayudaba a que dejaran de pelear con los otros caballos. Parece que Flash lo sintió, porque dejó de pelear.

• Flash me prestó algo más de atención ese día, aunque no mostró interés en caminar conmigo. Pasé bastante tiempo a su lado mientras comía e intentaba desenredar su crina, que estaba llena de ramas y nudos. Con Frea tuve un momento muy especial de conexión; le hice ver su belleza y su fuerza, y más tarde descubrí lo cariñosa que puede ser: me acarició con su cabeza y me sacó un suspiro. Con Mary compartí un rato tranquilo; recibió mis caricias con humildad y gratitud. Luna no se acercó, y respeté su espacio sin insistir.

• Cuando el grupo se fue al fondo del pasto y los acompañé, noté que Mary y luego Luna se alejaban de mí. Entonces, Flash se interpuso entre ellas y yo, como si quisiera impedir que me acercara. No entendí por qué, pero decidí quedarme tranquilo cerca, sin interactuar con ellos, esperando que se relajaran.
