GOAL

• Reconnect with the herd. Continue practicing the invitation with intention and enthusiasm, surrendering and enjoying the interaction in a relaxed, authentic, and present way, while also reinforcing my space, my leader-friend presence, with calm firmness.

OBJETIVO

• Reconectarme con la manada. Seguir practicando la invitación con intención y entusiasmo, entregándome y disfrutando de la interacción de forma relajada, auténtica y presente, además de reforzar mi espacio, mi presencia de líder-amiga,  con firmeza tranquila.

LESSON

• I learned with Flash that I don't just want to give affection — I also want to receive it and share a mutual connection.

APRENDIZAJE

• Aprendí con Flash que no solo quiero dar cariño, también deseo recibirlo y compartir una conexión recíproca.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

• I spent some time with the therapy horses: Amir, Alma, and Vida. Vida showed great curiosity and, for a moment, wanted to come closer, separating from Alma, although she didn’t dare to approach.

• With the herd, they were grazing far away at first and didn’t come closer, even though some of them had seen me. Meanwhile, the horses on the other side of the fence seemed to “call” me with their steady, focused attention, so I decided to approach and share space with them. Later on, I was the one who approached the herd. When Mary saw me, she became alert for a few moments, but upon recognizing me—or sensing my calm presence—she relaxed and continued grazing, though she didn’t come closer. Flash slowly began to approach out of curiosity. Then, when Inca saw me, it was as if she gave a signal, and all the horses started coming toward me with determination. I remained calm despite the tension of the moment, especially due to the presence of the dogs and the camera (I had my phone recording on a tripod). I briefly interacted with Flash and then moved to a more open space, where I tried to connect with Inca, but she didn’t respond. Later on, I had a moment of asserting myself with Frea and reinforcing my energetic leadership. I closed with another brief interaction with Flash, invited Mary again without response, and finally decided to step away.

DESTACADOS DE LA EXPERIENCIA

• Estuve un rato con los caballos en terapia: Amir, Alma y Vida. Vida mostró gran curiosidad y, por un momento quiso acercarse, separándose de Alma, aunque no se atrevió.

• Con la manada, al principio estaban pastando lejos y no se acercaron, aunque algunos me habían visto. Mientras tanto, los caballos del otro lado de la cerca me "llamaron" con su atención sostenida, así que decidí acercarme y compartir espacio con ellos. Más tarde, fui yo quien se acercó a la manada. Cuando Mary me vio, se puso en alerta unos instantes, pero al reconocerme, o al sentir mi presencia tranquila, se relajó y siguió comiendo, aunque no se acercó. Flash comenzó a acercarse poco a poco con curiosidad. Luego, cuando Inca me vio, pareció dar una señal y todos los caballos vinieron hacia donde yo estaba, con decisión. Mantuve la calma a pesar de la tensión del momento, especialmente por la presencia de los perros y la cámara (tenía el celular grabando en un trípode). Interactué brevemente con Flash y luego me retiré a un espacio más abierto, donde intenté conectarme con Inca, pero no me respondió. Más adelante, tuve un momento de afirmarme con Frea y reforzar mi liderazgo energético. Cerré con otra breve interacción con Flash, invité a Mary sin respuesta, y finalmente decidí retirarme.
