GOAL

• Simply being present for the horses in treatment (Amir, Alma, and Vida) and seeing how I can support, within what feels comfortable for me.

OBJETIVO

• Simplemente estar presente para los caballos en tratamiento (Amir, Alma y Vida) y ver cómo puedo apoyar, dentro de lo que me resulta cómodo.

LESSON

• The moments with Amir were simple and meaningful, contributing to the process of building trust before he joins the herd.

• Los momentos con Amir fueron simples y significativos, contribuyendo al proceso de construir confianza antes de que se una a la manada.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

• Unplanned, it was a great opportunity to connect with Amir, who will eventually join the herd. Since he was loose in the same space as me, the interaction happened naturally. At first, he took his time approaching, but he was very calm. He came closer, smelled me, and I stroked him without any issues. When I invited him to come, he responded, though he didn't follow me. Later, while I was sitting and meditating, he came back, smelled my hand, and ate near me. Then, when I lay down on a tree trunk, he approached again, smelled me, and left.

• At the end, I didn't have much time with the herd. I only managed to greet Frea, who came to see me at the corral entrance. She approached, smelled me, and I petted her, but I didn't like much her energy and the way she moved towards me, when I entered the corral. Despite that, I didn't get upset and kept petting her as she came closer, though she seemed to want me to move from my spot. The other horses, like Flash and Luna, watched me from a distance, but I didn't wait for them. It was a brief interaction, but it was nice to greet Frea.

DESTACADOS DE LA EXPERIENCIA

• Sin haberlo planeado, fue una gran oportunidad para conectar con Amir, que en algún momento se unirá a la manada. Como él estaba suelto en el mismo espacio que yo, la interacción surgió de forma natural. Al principio tardó en acercarse, pero se mostró muy tranquilo. Se aproximó, me olió y lo acaricié sin problemas. Cuando lo invité a venir, respondió, aunque no me siguió. Más tarde, mientras meditaba sentada, vino nuevamente, olió mi mano y comió cerca de mí. Luego, al acostarme en un tronco de arból, volvió a acercarse, me olió y se fue. 

• Al final, no tuve mucho tiempo con la manada. Solo alcancé a saludar a Frea, que vino a verme a la entrada del corral. Ella se acercó, me olió y la acaricié, pero no me gustó mucho su energía y la forma en que se movía hacia mí cuando entré al curral. A pesar de eso, no me alteré y seguí acariciándola, aunque quería que me moviera de mi lugar. Los demás caballos, como Flash y Luna, me observaron de lejos, pero no los esperé. Fue una interacción breve, pero agradable con Frea.
