LESSON

• It was interesting to observe how Frea moved away when I asked her to, and later accepted my greeting when I approached her again.

APRENDIZAJE

• Fue interesante observar cómo Frea se alejó cuando le pedí que lo hiciera y, más tarde, aceptó mi saludo cuando me acerqué nuevamente.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

• When I arrived, the horses were each eating in different parts of the field. Flash looked at me, I greeted him from a distance, and then I went over to greet everyone, one by one, except Luna, who was by the fence with Vida and Alma. I went to greet them later, before I left.

• The most meaningful part of that day was my experience with Frea. At one point, I sat down and she started eating nearby, although at first she would move away and then come closer again. I was happy to have her near me, because I had missed connecting with her. As she came closer, I silently reminded her that she had been the first horse to ever give me a hug. I don't remember if there had been another one after her. Then she made a loud sound through her nose that startled me, and I asked her to move away from me. She did. 

• After a little while, I went over to greet her and tell her that I hadn't wanted her to leave, but that the sound had startled me and I hadn't understood what she was trying to tell me. She accepted my greeting, and that was all.

DESTACADOS DE LA EXPERIENCIA

• Cuando llegué, los caballos estaban cada uno comiendo en un lado del campo. Flash me miró, lo saludé de lejos y luego me acerqué a saludar a todos, uno por uno, excepto a Luna, que estaba junto a la cerca con Vida y Alma. A ellas fui a saludarlas más tarde, antes de irme.

• Lo más relevante de ese día fue mi experiencia con Frea. Hubo un momento en que me senté y ella se puso a comer cerca, aunque al principio se alejaba y luego se acercaba nuevamente. Yo estaba feliz de tenerla cerca, pues extrañaba conectarme con ella. Mientras ella se acercaba cada vez más, yo le recordaba en mis pensamientos, sin mirarla, que ella había sido el primer abrazo que había recibido de un caballo. No recuerdo si hubo algún otro después del de ella. Entonces, ella hizo un ruido fuerte con la nariz que me asustó, y le pedí que se alejara de mí. Ella se fue. 

• Después de un ratito, fui a saludarla y a decirle que no quería que se fuera, pero que su ruido me había asustado y que no había entendido qué quería decirme. Ella aceptó mi saludo y eso fue todo.
