• Gained the courage to expose myself to the herd in their pasture, stayed with them without allowing them to approach me by using my body language, and without getting into a fight with them.

• Gané el coraje para exponerme a la manada en su pasto, permanecí con ellos sin permitir que se acercaran usando mi lenguaje corporal, y sin entrar en conflicto con ellos.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

• I entered the horses' pasture with a chair and sat down. When they saw me, they all approached at once and surrounded me, so I left the area for safety—my heart was pounding, but I tried to stay calm. I moved to another spot, and they followed me, but I stopped, stood firm, side-on, and froze. They stopped as well. I waited for them to turn around and leave, and once they did, I was able to sit and relax without them coming near. 

• I was in a place where they could notice my presence, but I wasn’t inviting them to come closer. When they tried to approach, I pretended to be reading. They were curious and somewhat watchful, but eventually, they relaxed. I also relaxed and began to feel a connection. The leader, however, remained vigilant.

DESTACADOS DE LA EXPERIENCIA

• Entré al prado de los caballos con una silla y me senté. Cuando me vieron, todos se acercaron al mismo tiempo y me rodearon, así que me alejé de la zona por seguridad—mi corazón latía con fuerza, pero traté de mantenerme tranquila. Me moví a otro lugar y me siguieron, pero me detuve, me mantuve firme, de lado, y me congelé. Ellos también se detuvieron. Esperé a que se dieran la vuelta y se alejaran, y una vez que lo hicieron, pude sentarme y relajarme sin que se acercaran.

• Estaba en un lugar donde podían notar mi presencia, pero no los invitaba a acercarse. Cuando intentaron acercarse, fingí estar leyendo. Estaban curiosos y algo atentos, pero eventualmente se relajaron. Yo también me relajé y comencé a sentir una conexión. La líder, sin embargo, permaneció vigilante.
