GOAL

• Let go even more of any expectation to move forward. Simply be myself in the space, without seeking connection, yet without closing myself. Continue to hold my intention and direction, without pushing or imposing—more an inner quality than an outward, deliberate action. Allow “being with them” to become so natural that I barely notice it. Stay attentive in case they are inviting me to something.

OBJETIVO

• Aflojar aún más cualquier expectativa de avanzar. Simplemente ser yo misma en el espacio, sin buscar la conexión, pero sin cerrarme a ella. Seguir transmitiendo mi intención y dirección, sin empujar ni imponer: más una cualidad interna que una acción externa deliberada. Permitir que “estar con ellos” se vuelva algo tan natural que ni siquiera lo note. Estar atenta por si me están invitando a algo.

LESSON

• That day, I observed how Amir was nipping at Vida's legs, how Inca was delegating roles to Mary and Luna, and how the group kept setting boundaries when Amir tried to come closer.

APRENDIZAJE

• Ese día observé cómo Amir mordisqueaba las patas de Vida, cómo Inca delegaba roles a Mary y Luna, y cómo el grupo seguía marcándole límites cuando Amir intentaba acercarse.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

• When I arrived, I was greeted by Amir's family. Amir was the first to greet me, followed by Vida, who is now much bigger and showing more boldness, and finally Alma. I felt that the greeting was a mix of recognition, curiosity, and reading my energy, although their bodies weren’t fully relaxed. Later on, I saw Luna coming toward me, followed by some of the others. I greeted Luna, Mary, and Flash. Frea spent quite a bit of time looking through the fence and I didn’t greet her until later. Inca was also distant at first. Of all of them, I felt that only Luna truly wanted to connect with me that day. Vida was also quite curious about me.

• It was a day of just being with them, feeling the moment, sharing my energy, and observing the group’s dynamics. I noticed that Luna seemed to be on guard duty, with some support from Mary. Frea seemed to be “on vacation,” and Flash was very relaxed in his own space, not particularly interested in connecting, though I did spend a good amount of time petting him, especially on his belly where his coat is very soft. Inca showed some leadership at times, though she also withdrew to a quiet spot now and then. I think I saw the moment when she released Luna from her role and then chose Mary to take over watching the group, using very clear body signals — pointing her face and moving her head forward. I still sense that the group hasn’t fully settled with the presence of Amir and his family. Amir was repeatedly nipping at Vida, including once when she was with me — he pushed her aside and bit her leg.

• I practiced Qigong, though there wasn’t much participation or presence from them.

DESTACADOS DE LA EXPERIENCIA

• Cuando llegué, me recibió la familia de Amir: Alma y Vida también se acercaron. Amir fue el primero en saludarme, luego Vida —que está mucho más grande y se muestra más atrevida— y por último Alma. Sentí que el saludo fue una mezcla de reconocimiento, curiosidad y exploración de mi energía, aunque sus cuerpos no estaban del todo relajados. Más tarde, vi que Luna venía hacia mí, seguida por algunos de los otros. Saludé a Luna, Mary y Flash. Frea pasó bastante rato mirando a través de la cerca y no la saludé hasta más tarde. Inca también estaba distante al principio. De todos, sentí que solo Luna quiso realmente conectar conmigo ese día. Vida también mostró bastante curiosidad hacia mí.

• Fue un día de solo estar con ellos, sentir el momento, compartir mi energía y observar la dinámica del grupo. Noté que Luna parecía estar cumpliendo el rol de guardia, con cierto apoyo de Mary. Frea parecía "de vacaciones", y Flash estaba muy relajado en la suya, sin buscar conexión, aunque lo acaricié bastante, especialmente en su guata, donde su pelaje es muy suave. Inca tuvo momentos de liderazgo, aunque por ratos se apartaba. Me pareció ver cómo liberó a Luna de su rol y luego eligió a Mary para cuidar al grupo, usando señales claras con la cabeza y el cuerpo. Aún noto que el grupo no se ha estabilizado completamente con la presencia de Amir y su familia. Amir estuvo varias veces mordisqueando a Vida, incluso una vez cuando ella estaba conmigo; la desplazó y le mordió la pierna.

• Hice mi práctica de Qigong, aunque no hubo mucha participación ni presencia de su parte.
