GOAL

• Observe Inca's behavior in relation to his former leadership role, alongside the family Amir, Alma, and Vida.

• Experiment with greeting the horses one by one when upon arrival so they recognize my energy without needing to constantly evaluate it. This way, during the reciprocal movement practice, when they approach, I hope it’s because they genuinely want to follow me and share the interaction. Also, see if I can trust them more while remaining attentive, as a starting point for them to trust me more as well. Use a posture similar to Tadasana if necessary.

OBJETIVO

• Observar el comportamiento de Inca en relación con su antigua posición de líder, junto a la familia Amir, Alma y Vida.

• Experimentar saludar a los caballos uno a uno al llegar, para que reconozcan mi energía sin necesidad de evaluarla constantemente. De este modo, durante la práctica de movimiento recíproco, espero que cuando se acerquen sea porque realmente quieren seguirme y compartir la interacción. Además, observar si puedo confiar más en ellos, sin dejar de estar atenta, como punto de partida para que también confíen más en mí. Utilizar una postura más parecida a Tadasana si es necesario.

LESSON

• As I let go of vigilance and moved into a softer kind of awareness, I noticed the horses opened up to me as well. My steps felt more grounded and natural, no longer shaped by concern over how they might respond.

APRENDIZAJE

• Al permitirme soltar la vigilancia y habitar una atención más suave, noté que ellos también se mostraban más abiertos conmigo. Mis pasos eran más decididos y naturales, sin estar pendiente de cómo podían reaccionar.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS

• Inca continues to take on a more peripheral position within the group of Amir, Alma, and Vida, possibly due to her pregnancy. Even so, I observed a moment when Alma approached her to greet her before returning to the group. Later on, Amir took a guarding position while the group ate calmly near the water.

• Greeting each member of the herd individually upon arrival turned out to be very positive. Although I noticed that Flash might have considered intervening, he ultimately chose not to. That day, Flash did not control the group as much, and Luna didn’t display competitive behavior toward Frea, who seemed more connected to both Flash and me. During the "walking without invitation" exercise, I felt that Frea followed me and we interacted briefly. It was a very harmonious day, and I believe this was largely because I approached the group with greater trust, while still remaining attentive.

• When I practiced Qigong, Flash was very intrigued, watching me closely as I continued the movements, while internally I welcomed him in case he wanted to come closer.

DESTACADOS DE LA EXPERIENCIA

• Inca continúa ocupando una posición más periférica dentro del grupo de Amir, Alma y Vida, posiblemente debido a su embarazo. Aun así, observé un momento en que Alma se acercó a saludarla antes de regresar con los demás. Más tarde, Amir se mantuvo en actitud de guardia mientras el grupo comía tranquilo cerca del agua.

• Saludar individualmente a la manada al llegar resultó muy positivo. Aunque noté que Flash pudo haber considerado intervenir, finalmente no lo hizo. Ese día, Flash no controló tanto al grupo, y Luna tampoco mostró comportamientos competitivos hacia Frea, quien se mostró más cercana tanto a Flash como a mí. Durante el ejercicio de "caminar sin invitar", sentí que Frea me seguía e interactuamos brevemente. Fue un día muy armonioso, y creo que esto se debió en gran parte a que me entregué con más confianza al grupo, sin dejar de estar atenta. 

• Al practicar Qigong, Flash se mostró muy intrigado, observándome de cerca mientras yo continuaba los movimientos, dándole internamente la bienvenida si deseaba acercarse.
