2024 Activities

1. Tuesday Handicap Points Challenge Results

The Club Individual points competition is played every Tuesday at 7.30 pm except the second Tuesday of the month. On the LAST Tuesday of month, a team competition will be held instead.

Every member is welcome to participate. Entry is through a Whatapps chat group. Contact a committee member for your name to be included in this Whatsapp group.

There are 4 frozen chicken to be won weekly generously donated by the Hornsby RSL club.

Our 2024 handicap points competition ended on 17 Dec 2024.

2. 2024 SNDTTA Spring Competition

Div 1 Spring Comp - Blue team won the Div1 Spring Comp beating Suns SPGR in the Grand Final. Anxi, Edgar and Dennis all won 1 singles each and the team won both doubles for a 5-3 win.

Div 2 Spring Comp - Purple team won the Div2 Spring Comp beating Cherrybrook Nadassi XI in the Grand Final. Bryce Hoang was the star player in the Grand final winning both his Singles and Doubles matches. Harry He won 1 singles for a 5-2 win.

Team members were Zorro Li, Geoff Barrett, Harry He, Bryce Hoang, Sonny Ching, Majid Nasr. Benny Tam, William Zhao and Som Rong Ye.

3. 2024 SNDTTA Autumn Competition

Div 1 Autumn Comp - Blue team was 1st on the ladder after the round robin matches but finished runners-up losing to SUNSSPGR in the Grand-Final

Team members were Dennis Lee, Anxi Zhou, Edgar So and Raymond Chen

Div 1 Autumn Comp - Black team was 5th after the round-robin matches - knocked out in the semi-finals to NHTTASAM

Team members were Hong Guang Du, Yun Long Gao, Som Rong Ye and Liang Tang

Div 2 Autumn Comp - Purple team was 1st on the ladder after the round robin matches but finished runners-up losing to SUNSSBEST in the Grand-Final

Team members were Geoff Barrett, Sonny Ching, Helen Ying, Harry He, Benny Tam and William Zhao

Div 3 Autumn Comp - Red team was 6th on the ladder after the round robin matches.

Team members were Majid Nasr, Esfand Sangsari, Wing Kwai Chan, Owen Ow and Aria Sangsari.

4. Two Creek Track Bushwalk October 13, 2024

On a beautiful Sunday, the club organised a bushwalk along the Two Creek Track on October 13. Despite the low numbers, it was an enjoyable trip of about 8 km followed by a sumptuous Thai meal at Monkey King Restaurant. Come and join us next time.

5. ANNUAL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

2023 Annual Club Championship was not played due to renovation of our Table Tennis Clubroom in October/Nov 2023.

The 2024 Div 1 Champion is Dennis Lee and runner up is Paul Thumachiewan. Paul held the title on the past 2 championship in 2019 and 2022. There were no competitions in 2020 and 2021 due to covid and 2023 due to room renovation.

The 2024 Doubles Champion was Bryce Hoang & Simon Chen defeating Ben Hoang & Michael Tran

The 2024 Div 2 Champion is Ken Huang and runner up Steven Li

The 2024 Div 3 Champion is Ikuto Choo and runner Guan Chen
