The Hoquiam Lions Club puts on a Salmon Dinner every year on the day of Loggers' Playday at the old Washington Elementary School starting at 2:00 pm. For $20 ($15 for youth) you receive a plate with salmon, coleslaw, a baked potato, roll, a juice and an ice cream. Cash and card are accepted at the door.

Thanks to the generosity of Mike Lytle he often is able to get salmon donated for the event helping turn a big profit!
A hardworking crew of volunteers headed up by the Wayman family help make sure everyone gets their food quickly and is able to enjoy it nice and hot!

Fireworks Stand in the Swanson's parking lot
All of the money raised is donated to scholarships for Hoquiam students.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Jeremy McMillan, the Hoquiam High School football team donates their time to set up and take down the stand.
Current scholarship recipients work at least one shift as a thank to to the club for helping donate to their education.

Built a place to eat at the Adams Street park (Old Cannary park).
Paid for multiple benches to be built in downtown Hoquiam for a place to rest.
The Lions Club donates to 5 scholarships a year two, two year academic scholarships and one, one year vocational scholarship.
