According to Wikipedia, "investment" is traditionally defined as the "commitment of resources to achieve later benefits". If an investment involves money, then it can be defined as a "commitment of money to receive more money later". In finance, the purpose of investing is to generate a return from the invested asset.
We can say an investment is the act of spending resources; money, time or energy on something, especially to generate a return on investment. A good investment is the one which the return on investment commensurate or achieve the purpose to which the investment was made while it is a bad investment if the return on investment does not measure up to the reason or purpose why the investment was made.
In the beginning, God invested on the earth by making man (us) in His image after His likeness to have dominion over all He made and most importantly have His resemblance, His nature and His representation in us that we may extend His kingdom on the earth.

In accordance with the Scriptures, the Philistines are one of the greatest enemies of Israel. They’re restless about going to war against Israel (God’s people), and even when other enemies of Israel relax, they don’t. Similarly, as God's adopted children, we face an unrelenting enemy who is constantly at war with us, even satan, also known as the devil. Note: I’m not saying that man has only one enemy, but of all the enemies of man, satan does not relax at going to war against him.
What is corruption? Corruption is the act of lowering the standard of existence for something. In another form, we can say it is the manipulation of one's way into doing something. Most times, it is always against the divine natural existence mandate or laws and regulations.
What is Desire?
Simply, Desire is what a man wants, to which he/she is willing to go to any extent to get or even abandon the things already possessed for its acquaintance. God so much desire to dwell in man and to give man power, for us to live a victorious life. This was possible through sacrificing His only begotten son Jesus, for all of Humanity. So we can also say, Desire is what we love.
The "arm" is an essential part of a man’s body that is designated for performing special functions. An open arm is known to mean good reception, so we can say it symbolizes love (embrace). When a man’s arm is stretched out, it is either to embrace, comfort, and welcome something or to reject, fight against it.
