Amicae President, Kim Watson

A Zeta Amicae Auxiliary is a subsidiary group of friends of a local Zeta Chapter and its major function and purpose are to lend assistance to Zeta activities. The Zeta Amicae Auxiliary is a part of the Zeta family and not a separate autonomous body. It is not a social club. It is a community service organization that conducts both joint and separate community service projects and has an interest in and participates in Zeta activities. It is a “support” group in Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

The Amicae (uh-MEE-kī) is an organized group of women interested in Zeta ideals and activities and is composed of non-degreed women who have participated in and contributed to charitable, religious and educational activities. Once an Amica receives a college degree, she can no longer be a member of an Amicae Auxiliary but will be encouraged to seek membership as a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
