Hope for the Little Ones is an advocacy launched by the students of Grade 11 - S2 from San Pedro College Main Campus. The advocacy aims to raise awareness of cancer — childhood cancer in particular.
Hope for the Little Ones serves as a gateway for the general public to learn more about childhood cancer, find organizations that support these children, and discover other advocacies with the same goal as ours. Furthermore, we shed light on those who persevered through their journey and share the story. Its objectives are to help people understand children's experiences with cancer, educate people regarding childhood cancer, as well as to spread hope and change lives.
Everyone can help spread and support this advocacy. This is not limited to only SPCians and students; instead, this is for everyone who wants to spread that little spark of hope. Supporting this advocacy means touching the hearts of people who have similar experiences and those who can help, and in such a way, hope shines. For people with similar experiences, spreading this advocacy gives them hope that they are not alone. By giving them hope, we are also giving them strength. On the other hand, people who wish to help may now know how to.
Together, we can create change by filling the minds and hearts of the children with hope. Hope that will give them the courage to move forward and overcome the difficulties in their journey. As one, we can help the childhood cancer community with our advocacy.
