Know Your Rights for Immigrants
Regardless of your immigration status, you have guaranteed rights under the Constitution and it's important that you know them. This event is for everyone. We encourage folks with undocumented status and allies for the cause to attend. Hosted by ACLU of FL:
The RAISE Legal Observer/Rapid Response Training
The RAISE Legal Observer Training from ACLU Florida is to train and prepare folks to respond to reports of immigration enforcement activity, where they will verify whether immigration activity is taking place and document what happened during enforcement actions. No need to be an attorney or have legal training.

Accompaniment Training
Tuesday, January 20, 2026 6pm-7:30pm
Registration: https://secure.everyaction.com/3H5xNDLPVkmeNulg4o5NNA2
Right now, many immigrant families face court hearing, family detention/separation, and the crisis of these ongoing threats of deportation completely alone. Accompaniment changes that. Your presence helps ensure dignity, safety, and due process—often in moments that shape the course of someone’s life. This training gives you the tools to show up powerfully and responsibly.
You can work virtually, helping people with cases complete Family Preparedness plans and KYRs. The Family Preparedness plan, for example, has a form that is necessary for people needing medication to get that medication if they are detained. You can, also, provide onsite support to immigrants with ICE proceedings. Whether virtual or onsite, you will be part of a team with guidance from seasoned Accompaniment volunteers and FLIC staff.
