FFA Agriculture Open House 

The FFA Agriculture Open House is an event held at Ponaganset High School. This event is run by Malaree Kane and Eric Rotondo, who are the agriculture teachers at Ponaganset. The FFA Ponaganset Chapter officers run interactive agriculture related stations for the students at Ponaganset to learn more about agriculture and the program that is offered at the school.

• The Prepared Public Speaking Competition is an FFA speech competition. For the competition, you have to prepare a five minute speech on any Agriculture related topic. On the day of the presentation, you have to present your memorized speech. The judges ask you questions about the topic of your speech and where you got your information from. For my speech, I wrote about my Gold Award and how bunnies should not be given as gifts for Easter.
