Founded in 2003, Hooray Learning Center has been dedicated to preserving and honoring cultural heritage while preparing children for success in an increasingly interconnected world. We integrate Chinese culture and traditions into our curriculum, alongside offering programs in Spanish language learning, art, sports, basketball, and STEAM education.

Our mission extends beyond just reinforcing academic skills—we are dedicated to helping students keep up with their school curriculum while equipping them with the tools to advance into new topics. Through our structured programs, we provide the necessary support to ensure that students stay on track with their coursework, gain confidence in their learning, and develop the ability to excel in their academic journey.

We believe that success in education requires both mastery and continuous progress. That’s why we focus on strengthening core subjects while also encouraging exploration beyond grade-level expectations. Whether it’s language arts, electives, or STEM fields such as math, biology, and chemistry, our goal is to foster a strong academic foundation that prepares students for success in every subject.

An other main mission of Hooray is to help children improve their English language skills while remaining connected to their cultural roots, fostering a sense of pride and identity. By blending academic achievement with a deep appreciation for heritage, we aim to equip children with the tools to thrive in this melting pot of cultures that makes the United States of America one of the greatest nations in history.

At Hooray Learning Center, we align our academic calendar with the officially published schedule of the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District (HLPUSD). This ensures that our students experience a seamless transition between their regular school curriculum and our after-school enrichment programs.

We strictly follow the district's academic schedule, including semester start and end dates, professional development days, and student-free staff workdays. Our goal is to provide continuity in education while supporting students in their academic growth.

Holiday and Break Programs

While we observe school holidays and recess periods, Hooray Learning Center remains open during these breaks to offer specialized advancement camps for children. These camps are designed to provide:

• STEM enrichment activities

• AP TEST PREP

• Language immersion programs (English, Mandarin, and Spanish)

• Arts, sports, and creative workshops

• Academic reinforcement and tutoring

By offering these holiday programs, we ensure that students stay engaged, continue learning, and make productive use of their time outside of their regular school schedules. 📅 日曆顏色標識與其含義

我們的課程與學區的官方日曆顏色標識對應，方便家長與學生理解重要的學術日期與特殊日子：

🔵 學期開始 (Semester Starts) - 標記學期正式開始的日期。

🔴 學期結束 (Semester Ends) - 代表學期的最後一天。

🟡 假日 (Holidays) - 學校正式放假，樂勤課後班將提供課外提升營 (Advancement Camps)。

🟣 秋季、冬季、春季假期 (Fall, Winter, Spring Recess) - 標記學區放假時間，我們將提供各種課外活動與營隊。

🟢 專業發展日 (Professional Development, PD) - 老師培訓日，學校沒有上課，但我們仍提供輔導與活動。
