Now retired, Ms. Lee dedicates her time to guiding and supervising students in their daily homework while helping them build a strong foundation in English. Ms. Shih is a dedicated and highly experienced educator with over 35 years of teaching experience as a middle school teacher in Shanghai. Throughout her career, she has nurtured and guided countless students, helping them develop a strong academic foundation and a passion for learning. Her expertise spans various subjects, and her ability to connect with students makes her an invaluable mentor.
Now, at Hooray Learning Center, Ms. Shih supervises students from 4th to 7th grade, providing them with structured support in their studies while fostering critical thinking and independent learning skills. She believes in cultivating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore new ideas, and build confidence in their abilities.
Her passion for education continues to shine through her dedication to her students, ensuring they receive the guidance they need to excel both academically and personally

Mr. Ronald Lu is passionate about the intersection of technology and education. As a dedicated tutor, he has worked extensively with students ranging from ages 5 to 18, providing one-on-one instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics. His expertise extends to AP Calculus AB and AP Chemistry, where he has guided students through complex concepts, helping them build confidence in their academic abilities.
In addition to tutoring, Mr. Lu has played a crucial role in supporting non-native English speakers with literacy development and has assisted first-generation students and their families in navigating the college admissions process. His background in cognitive science and computing allows him to take an analytical and structured approach to education, ensuring that each student receives personalized support tailored to their needs.

Imani Lee is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, where she is also a dedicated Division II student-athlete. With an additional focus on Political Science and Pre-Law certification, she is passionate about understanding human behavior and advocating for social justice.
Beyond her studies, Imani has extensive experience as an English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor at Hooray Learning Center, where she has worked with elementary and middle school students ranging from ages 4-13. She has supported students in Math, Reading, Art, and English, assisting with classroom learning and homework while also developing quizzes, grading assignments, and supervising recreational activities.

Ms. Simone Yu is currently a sophomore at UCLA, pursuing a degree in Statistics & Data Science. With a strong foundation in analytical thinking and education, she has dedicated over a year to tutoring students in Chinese, reading, writing, and math. Through her role as a tutor, she has worked with students ages 5 to 15, designing tailored lesson plans to meet each student's academic level and providing personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions bi-weekly.
Beyond tutoring, Simone has a deep interest in data-driven problem-solving and enjoys exploring statistical applications in various fields. She is passionate about making learning both engaging and effective for students of all backgrounds. In her free time, she enjoys discovering new advancements in data science, mentoring young learners, and contributing to community-based educational programs.

Peyton Chiu is passionate about the intersection of biology and computer science, which led him to pursue a degree in bioinformatics at UC San Diego. Outside of academics, Peyton spends his free time programming, exploring new advancements in artificial intelligence, and playing with his beloved cats. David Dai is a passionate and driven biochemistry student at the University of California, Santa Barbara. With a strong background in STEM, he has participated in dual enrollment programs at Citrus College and Rio Hondo College, gaining additional experience in mathematics. In 2024, he took part in the Hybrid Emerging Investigator Chemical Conference at Sun Yat-sen University, furthering his exposure to advanced research in chemistry.
Beyond academics, David serves as an Assistant at Hooray Learning Center, where he applies his leadership, organization, and mentoring skills. His expertise includes information technology infrastructure, accounting, team building, team leadership, and recruitment advertising.

Daniel Ching is a dedicated civil engineering student at California Polytechnic State University, Pomona. With a keen interest in design and infrastructure, he is eager to leverage his knowledge and skills to contribute effectively to the field of civil engineering.
Outside of academics, Daniel is passionate about basketball. His favorite NBA player is Kobe Bufkin, and he closely follows professional basketball leagues. Recently, he has expressed interest in exploring sports analysis and betting as a potential side income. With his analytical mindset and love for the game, he aims to apply his engineering problem-solving skills to the world of sports analytics.
