I am a junior here at Minot State University. I am currently studying Early Childhood Education. I was born and raised here in Minot and Minot State was always my dream college because I never wanted to go to the bigger colleges. When I got accepted here, I was excited. When I came here for Hometown Pride my senior year of high school, I got introduced to the Honors Program. I figured that it was like Honor Society, but I am so glad today that it was nothing like that.

I thought that this capstone was going to take me forever to get to, but now that I am here it doesn’t seem impossible. That is what I took out of these courses. Nothing is impossible if you really put your mind to it. This goes for the people I met in these courses, the memories I made, and the things I learned. This program was one of the best decisions I could’ve ever made. I would choose this program, repeatedly. I would relearn everything I did learn just to get the enjoyment of learning again and become the person I am today as well.
