Overall, the Honors Program helped me so much throughout my time at Minot State. I was able to develop relationships with people that I would never meet in any other courses. It also helped me come out of my shell and do things that I would have never done if I only did the Education Program. I gained so many experiences and memories as well.
One thing that I still do, to this day, that I learned in one of these courses is to greet all the kids at work when I see them. It makes their day and it makes mine just by seeing them smile and feeling recognized. I have developed relationships with kids that I would have never had the chance to.
The knowledge that I have gained in these courses will stick with me for the rest of my time here and beyond. I have many things that I will use in my future classroom that I have learned here. I also know what my life could look like with the community service projects that I have completed.
I hope that many more people get the experience that I got in this program, and they see their life change just like mine did. I will forever be grateful for the experience.
