With my experience of being a hardware engineer, software engineer, software architect and researcher, I use my leisure time on system design and implementation. Some of these projects are commercialized and protected with patents. Here is a list of some of my leisure projects.
For obvious reason, the projects from my previous work in Nokia, Intel and Founder Co. are not suitable for this public personal web site.
Biology samples are preserved in very low temperature environment--tanks filled with liquid nitrogen. The samples may be stored for years and decades. During this time, the storage environment must be maintained carefully. Otherwise, the damage will be costly and non-reversible. In this project, I designed and implemented a complete system that monitor the status of the tanks and also working environment. The system sends alarms in different events, for example temperature high, liquid level too low, or even the oxygen level in the environment is too low.
More details of this project is available here.
The motivation of this project is my own home. I need to control my house with more smart system. For example, the room temperature should follow my family schedule, remotely control my car heating or garden watering. The system is a low cost system with maximum flexibility. This is an ongoing project. At the moment, some rooms in my home is already controlled by this system.

Sokoban is one of my favorite game. This is an early project written in Java and runs on old mobile devices. New version of this game (probably on Android and iOS platform) may come later.
