HONG LAB was established in March 2019 within the Department of Chemistry at Yeungnam University. We are dedicated to creating novel platforms to address key challenges in the clinical applications of drug/gene delivery, diagnostics, and biosensing. In particular, we focus on designing and developing innovative functional biomaterials by integrating diverse technologies, including nucleic acid, viral, polymer, and protein engineering, as well as inorganic nanoparticles (e.g., quantum dots and gold nanoparticles). Through our expertise and dedication, we aim to provide new strategies and opportunities for nanomedicine research.
