We believe that shared housing can be more than just shared rent — it can be a true community.

Through clear expectations, open communication, and shared responsibilities, we build homes where people support each other, respect differences, and feel a genuine sense of belonging.

Home by Dorrisson began in 2018 with a simple but powerful idea: to combine queer-friendly, nerd-loving community living with sustainable entrepreneurship. What started as one house quickly grew — in 2019, we bought our first home, and by 2020, we welcomed our first apartment into the fold.

In 2021, the whole community moved together into a larger shared house in Sollentuna, just north of Stockholm. Today, we are 13 people living across three apartments — and many more who take part in our world through clubs, events, and open house gatherings.

From the very beginning, our goal has been the same: to build real homes for real people, with shared values, playful hearts, and space for everyone to be themselves.

To keep our community safe, functional, and fun, we have clear expectations for everyone who lives here.

We welcome people who are clean, considerate, and committed — socially warm, emotionally mature, and ready to take responsibility not just for their rent, but for the shared space we all call home.

We are queer by design, not by coincidence. Most of our residents are LGBTQ+ with strong ties to queer and nerd culture. We value a healthy age mix (typically 25+), and we prioritise those with experience in co-living and a long-term mindset. This is not a short-term stop — it's a place to land and grow.

We are strictly smoke-free, drug-free, and drama-free.
We believe in direct, respectful communication.
We keep our spaces clean.
