Yes, we play D&D – and we take it seriously.
Our in-house club includes both residents and outsiders, with multiple campaigns running in parallel. We gather around the table (or the screen) regularly, and whether it’s high fantasy, dark horror, or cozy tavern roleplay, there’s always a story unfolding. We play both traditional tabletop and play-by-post online.
We’re always open to new players – and especially to DMs! If you’ve got a story to tell or a character you’re itching to play, come join the party.
Pride is one of our favorite traditions – and for us, it’s about joy, resistance, and community. We’ve hosted public pre-parade parties, queer mingle nights, and small prep gatherings with glitter and snacks. Every year, we walk together in the parade, and we always show up strong – often with far more than our regular 13 household members.
Pride at Dorrisson isn’t just a weekend – it’s a spirit we carry all year round.
We read long fantasy series together – the kind that make you fall in love with a world and never want to leave.
Our book club is open to everyone, and we meet in large groups to discuss what we’ve read, share theories, and celebrate our favorite characters. It’s casual, nerdy, and filled with passionate tangents about dragons, chosen ones, and morally ambiguous wizards.
No academic background required – just a love of good stories.
Some of our best moments happen in the kitchen.
Whether we’re cooking together or just gathering to eat, food is a big part of our shared life. We’ve got skilled vegetarian chefs in the house and plenty of people who just enjoy a good meal with good company. Sometimes it’s themed dinners, sometimes it’s improvised, but it’s always warm, welcoming, and a little bit messy (in the best way).
You don’t need to be a chef – just show up hungry.
