About Me

A Glimpse into My Journey

In the summer of 1995 while just 20 years old, I embarked on a life-changing adventure, studying abroad and traveling through Italy, Austria, France, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, England, Belgium, and Ireland. My passion for travel was ignited. After graduating from Georgia Tech in 1997 with a degree in Industrial Engineering, I spent nearly a decade as a business consultant and technology and supply chain manager. 

The Travel Bug and Early Career

The travel bug bit hard during my summer abroad, and I was fortunate to explore the Netherlands, Germany, France, Greece, England, and Scotland in the early years after college. My husband and I purchased a Mathnasium franchise in 2005, growing it to five successful centers in North Atlanta.  Through our adventures with Mathnasium, we travelled to California many times, Toronto, Chicago, Dallas, Orlando, Las Vegas, and several other cities.

Family Adventures and Personal Escapes

From 2004 to 2019, while raising our family, we managed to make exciting trips to Maui, Hawaii; Cabo, Cancun & Cozumel, Mexico; Los Angeles, San Diego & San Francisco, California; Boston, MA; Bar Harbor, Maine; Orlando, Florida; Hilton Head, SC; the Gulf Coast of Florida along 30A; numerous Caribbean cruises, Ocean City, Maryland; and Washington D.C. I also enjoyed countless girls' trips to vibrant cities like NYC, Quebec City, Charleston, SC; Asheville, NC; and Nashville, TN.

European Summers and Cruises

As our children became teenagers, our family began traveling to Europe each summer, connecting with family in Heidelberg, Germany. Since 2021, we've explored London, Paris, Rome, Florence, Lucerne, Barcelona, Mallorca, and the enchanting villages of the Black Forest. We've also indulged in 1-2 cruises annually on Royal Caribbean's Oasis Class Ships.

A New Chapter with GSC World Travel

In the spring of 2024, we sold our Mathnasium franchises and embraced a new season of life with more flexibility and time to pursue our passions. With two of our three children now in college, I finally heeded the advice of friends and family who insisted I had a knack for travel planning. After extensive research, I partnered with GSC World Travel as a Luxury Travel Advisor in the summer of 2024.
