Holbrook Motorcycle Sports Club has affiliated with the Australian Motorcycling Competition Association (AMCA).
AMCA provides national competition sanctioning, insurance cover, and safety frameworks that allow clubs to run properly organised and insured events.
This page explains what AMCA is, why our club has affiliated, and what members and participants need to do when attending AMCA-sanctioned events.
The Australian Motorcycling Competition Association (AMCA) provides:
National competition sanctioning
Event insurance cover
Standardised safety and participation requirements
Support for clubs running motorcycle events
AMCA affiliation helps ensure our events are properly insured and run to recognised safety standards, protecting riders, volunteers, officials, landowners, and the club.
Holbrook Motorcycle Sports Club has affiliated with AMCA to:
Continue running insured and sanctioned events
Meet recognised competition and safety standards
Protect riders, volunteers, and officials
Support the long-term sustainability of club events
This change allows the club to continue operating responsibly while maintaining the welcoming, community-focused culture we value.
For AMCA-sanctioned events, all participants must hold a valid AMCA membership, including:
riders
officials
volunteers
marshals
pit crew (where applicable)
AMCA membership is free and must be completed before attending the event.
Junior riders are welcome at many Holbrook Motorcycle Sports Club events.
For AMCA-sanctioned events:
Juniors must meet the event’s age and eligibility requirements
A parent or guardian must be present at sign-on and during the event
Juniors must ride in the appropriate class for their age and experience
Junior eligibility and requirements will always be clearly listed on the event page.
AMCA membership does not replace Holbrook Motorcycle Sports Club membership.
You must still be a current HMSCC member to participate in club events
AMCA membership is an additional requirement for sanctioned events only
Some events may require an AMCA competition licence depending on the event format.
Licence requirements will always be clearly listed on the relevant event page.
Register for a free AMCA membership
Complete the online waiver and registration details
Select the appropriate licence (if required for competition events)
Bring your AMCA details to event sign-on
Tip: Your AMCA membership must be active before you arrive at the event.
At AMCA-sanctioned events:
Sign-on will proceed as usual
You may be asked to confirm your AMCA membership
Rider briefings remain mandatory
All club safety and conduct requirements apply
The overall event experience will feel familiar — AMCA provides the framework behind the scenes.
Each event page will clearly state:
Whether AMCA membership is required
Whether a competition licence is needed
Any additional eligibility or safety requirements
If you’re unsure, please check the event page or contact the club.
We understand this is a new system and may take some getting used to.
If you have questions about:
AMCA membership

please contact the club — we’re happy to help.
