The Hokitika and West Coast Netball Centres jointly run an InterCentre netball competition for our Premiere A and B teams.
The purpose of the competition is to allow teams and players to have strong competition played indoors, at the Westland High School Gymnasium in Hokitika, and the Westland Recreation Centre in Greymouth.
An InterCentre committee coordinates the Inter Centre competition. For more information, please email hokinetball@gmail.com.

A note from the committee on grading
The Intercentre grading committee agreed we keep teams of similar ability, age (where appropriate) and skill in the same grouping as we focus on giving all teams the opportunity to play challenging and safe netball
We also recognise the potential for teams to improve significantly from their grading day form and we don't want to stifle growth. So, there is the potential this season after the first round to move into the Premier A competition should the team's first round results be good enough to support this change.
The top team in Premier B section 1 and the top team in Premier B section 2 will play to decide who takes the 6th spot in the Premier A grade for the second round. This game to be held outside the normal competition.
Should a team go up to Premier A then there is also an opportunity for a team from the outdoor competition to join Premier B for round two.
A team moving up would go to the higher grade with no points.
