Take-off Japanese is a daily speaking and listening practice for Korean-speaking beginners. Each scene moves beyond a memorized request: hear a likely reply, understand it, answer, recover when you miss something, and try the exchange again with one detail changed.

To help us reproduce an issue, include the app version, iPhone model, iOS version, and the Day where it occurred. Please do not send passwords, payment details, passport images, or other sensitive information.

Privacy Policy

Effective date : August 30, 2026

Take-off Japanese stores learning progress on your iPhone and does not operate an account or learner-profile server.

1. On-device learning data : Your selected route and start date, display preferences, completed lessons, streak, favorites, and review queue are stored locally so you can continue learning. HODOVERSE cannot access this information.

2. Permissions and recording : The app does not request your precise location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, recording, speech recognition, or pronunciation scoring. What you say is neither collected nor stored.

3. Apple system voices : Japanese examples are spoken with voices available on your iPhone. The app plays model speech but does not receive your voice or send your lesson text to HODOVERSE.

4. Contextual advertising : Google AdMob banners may appear only on the Journey and Archive screens. Onboarding, Today, Settings, and every lesson session remain ad-free. Personalized advertising, publisher first-party identifiers, mediation, and App Tracking Transparency requests are disabled.

5. Advertising data : Google Mobile Ads may process approximate location derived from an IP address, app-bounded device information, advertising interactions, and diagnostic or performance information to serve and measure contextual ads and prevent fraud. Learning content, speech, progress, favorites, and settings are not sent to the advertising service.

6. Privacy choices : Where required by local law, advertising privacy choices are presented in the app and can be reopened from Settings. The app does not use cross-app tracking.

7. Data deletion : Deleting the app removes its locally stored settings and learning history, subject to your device backup and restore settings. No learner copy is retained on a HODOVERSE server.
