Hi! My name is Chloe Hoffmeister. I am a junior at River Hill High School and a member of the G/T Independent Research program. Through the Intern/Mentor course, I interned at Howard EcoWorks. I created this website with my mentor as my final project for the course. I hope you find this site helpful and take action to improve the health of our local waterways!

Howard EcoWorks is a local nonprofit organization based in Columbia, MD whose mission is to empower an under-served workforce to respect and restore our natural systems for future generations. EcoWorks has installed more than 120 small best management practices (BMPs) throughout Howard County, including rain gardens, conservation landscapes, native tree plantings, rain barrels, and more.
