Coach Brandon Redeau was born and raised in Portland, OR. He is a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School where he participated in Football, Wrestling, and Baseball. After graduating and going to college, he decided to explore his coaching career in the sports he played. Coach Redeau has been coaching wrestling since 2016 and is very honored to be our Head Wrestling Coach here at Hockinson High School. Coach Redeau has elevated this program on and off the mat as he holds our student-athletes to high academic standards. In his first year at Hockinson, he has managed to take multiple of our underclassmen and first year wrestlers into the postseason.
Coach Redeau is a big family guy. Currently, he has been with his amazing girlfriend for the past 3 years, Morgan Welch. You will most likely find him in the wrestling room near his nephews, DeShavion and Dalonte. Coach Redeau has been around wrestling his entire life as his grandfather is a world renowned wrestling coach, Donnie McPherson. Coach Redeau genuinely enjoys spending time with youth as this gives him the chance to mentor and help young adults navigate some of the challenges they face in today’s world. This also allows him to pour into them some of the life lessons he has learned over the years. Coach Redeau is very honored to be working with our student-athletes and very glad to be a part of this amazing team and community.
