The Hocking Valley Scenic Trail Advisory Committee, established in 2017, is a group of community members who work collaboratively for the purpose of developing and expanding safe, scenic recreational trails in Hocking County and surrounding regions. We believe this active transportation resource will benefit the local residents, businesses, and visitors to the Hocking Hills.

We believe safe and convenient walking and biking routes in our communities will enhance the health and well-being of our residents.
Mission
Mission
To maintain and improve the quality of life and safety of those who walk, run, bicycle and rely on non-motorized means of travel in the county and its immediate environs, while preserving the organic network of the county roadways, and to promote a long range plan for access improvements for commuters, shoppers, students, and biking enthusiasts, both for the health and welfare of our citizens, workers, and visitors, and for the environmental and economic health of our county.
