A City Unlike Any Other
Oakhaven was built to move.
The city was not simply a collection of streets and towers. It was a living system of stone, water, heat, gears, counterweights, resonance, and human labor.
The First Builders created Oakhaven to work with the forces of the canyon and the river. Its foundations flexed. Its geothermal systems carried heat upward. Ancient mechanisms helped hold its tiers together. Its natural resonance—the Vein-Song—allowed the city to absorb the movement of the earth rather than fight it.
Centuries later, the Guild sought something different: permanence, control, and perfect order. Their attempt to make Oakhaven still threatens to turn the city itself into a brittle monument.
