Hi! My name is Rachel Day and I am a senior Data Analytics and Statistics major minoring in Economics and Math. I live in Cumming, GA, but I grew up in North Dakota (yes, people do actually live there). I am an active brother in Alpha Phi Omega (a co-ed service fraternity), treasurer of Alpha Lambda Delta (the first-year honor society), a member of the Club Ballroom and Latin Dance Team, and a member of the Honors Program's Service and Philanthropy board. I love to read, travel, bake, and play board games with my friends.
Music has always been an important part of my life because I grew up in dance, specifically ballet. I also was in orchestra, choir, and musical theater throughout school. While I may not be involved in these activities anymore, I still love music because it helped to shape who I am and how I interact with and move through the world. I also use music in my day-to-day life while I am sitting doing homework or reading so I am not sitting in silence.
