I will be on hiatus at this time. You're welcome to contact me for questions & concerns, and I'll respond as soon as I can!
After the past 29 years, I finally moved away from my parent's house and lived with the person I truly love! I feel a little homesick, but it feels nice and explores more about myself. I've been working out at the gym, enjoying my part-time job, and creating memories with my boyfriend. Most importantly, I get to enjoy creating art projects for special occasions! This year, I've made about six projects and a few sketches, and it makes me feel excited to go back into drawing and painting again. I never knew that I would improve my artistic skills for a very long time. Usually, in high school, I would be drawing a surrealistic portrait, but this time I made a realistic portrait that was ten times better than before. Looking at my works just eagers me to keep drawing, and that's the best thing about being an artist - being passionate about our interests and challenging ourselves to become professional artists. I always tell my students never to give up and keep practicing because, later on, they'll get better as they continue to grow up.
In the next few days, I'm turning thirty years old. It felt surreal to grow more mature than I used to be. Looking back on my past, I miss all the good and bad times I've experienced. I asked myself, "What is my plan for my birthday?" I want to try new activities, but most of my plans fail because we're all too busy with work. Then, it hit me! On my birthday, I will do my best to finish my 7th project before I start my shift without distraction. It's been a while since I painted my artwork and experimented with gouache.
As for the next ten years in the future, I plan to study more about art education and be prepared to have a wedding and kids with my boyfriend. I never thought I would find the perfect man who loves and support my happiness. It makes me happy that I love who I am, and I want to be the best person to make him happy and proud.

Hello everyone! I finally finish updating my art portfolio with a few artworks that I've been working on since a year ago! Currently, I've been working part-time jobs as an art teacher at an art private school and a substitute teacher for Spring Branch ISD. Recently, I've been teaching and guiding children to create artworks they would like to make. They made artwork for family, friends, contests, and many more! They learn and have fun with art as they continue to practice repetitively until they create realistic artwork. I'm also working on my teacher certifications, so I can start a new journey as a full-time art teacher. Will I be working at certain grade levels? Will I be working at another district? Who knows!
In the meantime, I'll try my best to work on more artwork and sketchbooks along the way. If you want to find out more about me, I mainly upload new artwork and stories on my Instagram, @ltnguy_1018.
Lastly, I am open to a commission! You can contact me via email at hien.nguyen18.ln@gmail.com and by phone number at 281-781-9632.

Greeting! I want to announced that my art portfolio is "mostly complete." The only images I need to upload is my Advanced Drawing artworks and sketches. Thank you for visiting and waiting patiently. We all have been going through difficult challenges during COVID-19 pandemic. But, many of us fight until the world is better again. The feeling is surreal, that I pray for the world to be safe and mask free, so we can all commute and continue our journey of life with no regrets. Hope you all enjoy my portfolio, and I'll do my best to update my experience in the art world.
