The purpose is that is is a value to help, the benefits outweigh the costs (financially and otherwise). The knowledge gain is worthwhile and worth the efforts. The is a cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment to the new endeavour and set of interactions.

Ethical perspective
Pseudo-experiments or surveys did not involve animals, just humans; there are no clinical trial with (e.g. pharmacological) substances; nor use of direct neuroimaging or neurophysiological devices; no causing of stress, anxiety, physical pain or psychological pain, no misleading or deception, or anything as such.
Human data - by virtue of and told verbally at the time.
It is made implicit (and made explicitly clear) to people that by using the website, forms, being on KCL venues answering relevant questions for surveys, that those individuals automatically opt-in a form of data collection for me and others at KCL to be able to provide better product and services for them and others in the immediate and near future.
Individuals from whom information is gathered are usually adults over 18, with a full conscience of those terms.
Data was from participants being redirect to complete info in their own time; or inputting themselves on the e-tablet on the spot; or me inputting in front of them and then to them giving link and my contact details (business card if appropriate); or 3rd party observations or lesser depth.
If concerned/involved in any of those as stated, a copy of info is available.

Since 2018, there has been is an ongoing bidirectional means of communication at all time and for ever, with others and me; even if/when I will be leaving KCL completely, individuals will still be able to contact me with regards to the material and projects presented in the contents of this website.
