Christine Forster, Ph.D is a Professor at the Law and Justice Faculty of the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. Christine has researched in the area of gender equality and women’s human rights throughout her academic career. In particular, Christine’s research interests include the Convention on the Elimination of all Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), gender equality laws, violence against women, family law, and gender equality issues in federalism and she has published widely in these areas. Christine also has extensive practical experience delivering gender equality training in South-East Asia and India, particularly in the area of gender equality and federalism.
