What is the HLAA?

Founded in 1979 by Howard E. “Rocky” Stone, the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) is the nation’s leading organization representing consumers with hearing loss. Today, the HLAA has over 150 chapters nationwide!

The Eastern Connecticut Chapter is a vibrant and diverse community dedicated to helping people with hearing loss lead more satisfying and productive lives, by providing socialization, information, advocacy and support.
