While the society's name implies "all things HL7 related in Singapore", HL7 Singapore in reality, promotes all relevant Health IT (HIT) Interoperability standards adopted in Singapore as well as serving as the defacto Health Informatics Society in the country. Some of our key activities includes;

• Support the development, promotion and implementation of HIT standards in ways which meet the needs of healthcare organizations, healthcare professionals and healthcare IT practitioners in Singapore

• Match Singapore national requirement with HIT standards, and if necessary, develop Singapore-specific messages, profiles and implementation guides

• Educate the Singapore community and healthcare IT practitioners about HIT standards, and to promote effective and consistent implementation of HIT standards

• Promoting collaborations and exchanges among the Digital Health & Health Informatics community through local and international, meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences
