Pre-departure information

A visa is required. They strongly encourage you to apply through their office. Information for the visa is sent in the acceptance package.

Visa applications are due:

Fall: Mid-May Spring: Early November

Please note that resident permit/visa requirements can change at any moment and our offices will not be informed. It is the student’s responsibility to check the embassy website or with your host university for updated procedures and required documentation.

If you have any questions, your best resource will be your host university or the consulate. Our office is happy to help as much as we can, but are not experts in immigration.

NOTE: Visa application rules change frequently and the university cannot control visa acceptance. You are responsible for applying for and providing the proper documentation to the consulate or embassy.
