Arrow

The arrow consists of solving three cross pieces, with the missing one in front. If you are good at crosses from CFOP, it should not be too difficult. There are many great cross tutorials on YouTube, so I recommend watching those as many of the same things apply to the arrow. Arrow has fewer pieces than the cross does, so it uses fewer moves and will affect fewer pieces. This is ideal for inspection as it makes planning the first pair much easier, and can allow for inspection into the second pair.

X-Arrow: X-Arrow consists of solving the arrow with any pair already solved. It can be a useful way to take advantage of good cases. I recommend watching YouTube videos on CFOP X-Crosses, as X-Cross tricks are good for X-Arrow too.
