美國史丹褔大學心理學教授 Carol Dweck 和眾多教授在過去30多年進行無數的調查及研究「成長思維模式」(Growth Mindset)，加上在教育機構中推行並實踐，證實學生在成績和學習動力上都有顯著的進步。因此今年獲得全球最豐厚的「一丹教育研究獎」 。

是次座談會將探討「成長思維模式」到底是什麼？為什麼學生需要有它？在香港實踐「成長思維模式」所遇到的文化和體制上的挑戰是什麼？我們如何意識到自己的思維模式？如何灌輸學生這個思維模式？參加者可藉是次座談會對「成長思維模式」有較全面的認識。

此座談會歡迎教育界人士參與，共同探討教育的另一種方法。 座談會分為兩部分。主講嘉賓將首先分享「成長思維模式」對孩子的學習效益及運用的經驗; 每個課題完結前有發問時間。最後部分為集體討論。

Details of Event

In the past 30+ years, Professor Carol Dweck of Psychology at Stanford University and other professors have conducted numerous studies on "Growth Mindset". According to outcomes from practices and implementation in educational institutes, academic performance and learning motivation of students with growth mindset show significant improvement. As a result, she won the world's richest "Yidan Education Research Prize" this year.

In this seminar, the speakers shall discuss: What is "Growth Mindset"? Why do students need it? What are the cultural and institutional challenges encountered in practicing “Growth Mindset” here locally? How do we become aware of our own mindset? How is "Growth Mindset" instilled to students' thinking? Participants of this seminar will have a fuller picture of "Growth Mindset" from this seminar.

Educators are welcome to this seminar for discussion on an alternative teaching method. Each speaker’s talk and will be followed by a Q&A session. The seminar will be ended with a panel discussion session.
