PRIVACY POLICY – AI Video Generate: Video Maker

1) Who we are

This Privacy Policy applies to the AI Video Generate: Video Maker mobile application (“App”).

Data Controller: Hamdullah KALAY (“we”, “us”).

Backend / infrastructure:

We use Firebase (Google Cloud Platform) services, including Firebase Cloud Functions and Firebase Storage.

2) What data we collect

A) User Content (provided by you)

- Photos/images you upload for video generation (typically 1–2 images per generation).

- Your selected template/theme and generation settings.

- Generated video reference(s) / URL(s) (we store links/identifiers so you can access results in “History”).

B) Analytics & diagnostics (via third‑party SDKs, if enabled in the App)

- App interaction/usage data (e.g., feature usage, in-app events).

- Device and app information (e.g., device model, OS version, app version).

- Crash reports and diagnostics information.

3) How we collect data

- Directly from you when you upload images and request a generation.

- Automatically through analytics/crash reporting services if they are enabled in the App.

4) How we use data

We use the data to:

- Generate videos based on your selected template and uploaded image(s).

- Provide access to your generation results in “History”.

- Troubleshoot issues, fix bugs, improve reliability and performance, and prevent abuse.

- Manage subscriptions and premium access (if you subscribe).

5) Sharing & third parties (who we share data with)

We only share data as needed to provide the service.

A) AI processing (third‑party AI service)

To generate a video, we transmit your uploaded image(s) and generation parameters (template/settings) to:

- fal.ai (Features & Labels, Inc.) via its AI media platform.

Depending on the selected model, processing may involve third‑party model providers accessed through fal.ai, such as:

- Kling

- Vidu

Important: These providers process your content to generate the requested video. Their own terms/policies may also apply.

B) Backend / storage used to create a URL for AI processing

- Your uploaded image(s) are received by our backend endpoints implemented with Firebase Cloud Functions.

- We upload the image(s) to Firebase Storage to create a URL that can be used for AI processing.

C) Analytics & crash reporting providers

If enabled, we use:

- Firebase Analytics (Google) for app usage analytics.

- Firebase Crashlytics (Google) for crash reporting and diagnostics.

D) Subscriptions

We use:

- RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.) to help manage subscription entitlements and purchase state across supported platforms.

6) Explicit permission before sharing with third‑party AI

Before we upload your image(s) and send them for AI processing, we ask for your explicit permission inside the App and clearly disclose:

- what data is sent (your uploaded image(s) + template/settings),

- who it is sent to (fal.ai and the selected model provider via fal.ai),

- and why (to generate your video).

If you do not consent, the App will not start the generation process.

You can withdraw this permission at any time in the App’s settings (withdrawing consent prevents new generations).

7) Retention & deletion

A) Uploaded images

We store uploaded image(s) in Firebase Storage only to create a URL for the AI generation request.

- We delete uploaded image(s) from our storage after the generation request is completed (or within a short time window), unless a longer period is required for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.

B) Generated videos

Generated videos may be hosted by the AI provider(s) (fal.ai / model provider). We store the generated video reference/URL so you can access it from “History”.

- Availability and retention of generated video files on third-party systems may vary depending on their policies.

C) Deletion in the App

You can delete items from “History” at any time.

- When you delete an item, we remove the associated record and remove saved URLs/references in our database.

- Note: If a generated video is hosted by a third party, we may not be able to guarantee deletion from their systems; their retention policies may apply.

0) Children

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
