Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps was founded in 1971, is one of the Non-profit youth uniformed group in Hong Kong. By providing high-level discipline training, local and overseas exchange and community service, to improve and develop our youth to become a confidence, responsible, and good citizenship individual.

No101 Squadron, formerly No 1 Squadron, was the first Squadron in the Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps. We renamed to No 101 Squadron on January 9, 1995. It belongs to Hong Kong Island Wing which under Operations Group. We provides discipline and leadership training through different types of events which held on Saturdays.

香港航空青年團為註冊慈善團體，民政事務局資助機構及公益金會員。於1971年4月7日成立。以紀律性的編制和訓練，為香港青少年提供有益身心的課餘活動，致力培育團員的領導才能，自立能力，並且發揮其潛能，使他們成為優良的領袖及服務社會的良好公民。

第101中隊前身為第一中隊，是本團創辦的首個中隊， 成於1995年1月9日更改其名為第101中隊。隸屬香港航空青年團行動部第一（港島）大隊駐校中隊之一， 本中隊逢週六集會透過不同類型活動，提供紀律，領導才能等訓練。

加入一零一中隊要求：
1）十一至十八歲
2）港大同學會書院學生
3）能操粵語及與學歷相符的英語
4）願意接受紀律訓練
5）渴望學習航空知識及參與飛行活動
6）熱衷於體育及野外活動
