Occasionally it is necessary to pass the hat around in support of this project. If you appreciate this work, please consider contributing. While this is primarily a labor of love, it does take a lot of time and there are a number of expenses involved with moving it forward.

After about four weeks of full time work launching this new site as an expansion of the Recreating the Columbia River Highway website, its time, once again, to reach out for a little additional support to keep the work going and to accomplish some of the goals set out by members of the various Facebook groups associated with the project.

Right now, this ask is about gathering the funds to finish up the framework and initial content of the expanded website to make it useful for other highway road scholars, to offset some of the expenses already incurred through the launch of the new site, to restore a top-level URL for both the the CRH site and, at least, the new expanded site's home page, as well, if possible, funding some new gear and fieldwork on all of these old highways.

VERY IMPORTANT PROJECT! Recreating the Columbia River Highway's website on the highway is probably the most thorough and intensely researched works on the highway since the spartan efforts of the 1970's. I first saw this page 5-6 years ago when it was all together, before all the carnage hit. It was the encyclopedia of the highway. It is the most seminal work I've seen in the past 50 years. We'll soon see it all together again! Some day, this will be one of the best book resources on the highway and it's state from 2000 - present. PLEASE KEEP THE CROWDFUNDING GOING! Not asking for a ton but, $5, $10, and even $20 will get this page finished. It is a project like NO other. Please help TODAY."
