HIPPO ELT Struga is committed to supporting English language teachers across North Macedonia. We organise training activities, workshops, seminars, and conferences to help teachers grow professionally and stay current with best practices in ELT.

Teaching for Tomorrow Project

We are proud to have implemented the 'Teaching for Tomorrow: Building Stronger Classrooms and Stronger Teachers' project, supported by the British Council. This initiative offered free professional development (20+ hours) for English language teachers in North Macedonia, including:

• Webinars on inclusive teaching, digital tools, classroom management, sustainability, and the UN SDGs.

• Blended delivery (online and in-person) for accessibility across the country.

• National English Teaching Innovation Contest using TeachingEnglish resources, with winners and awards.

Competitions & Events for Teachers

Coordinating HIPPO gives teachers a unique opportunity to engage their students in an international event, benchmark their classes against students across 70+ countries, and network with fellow educators at the national and international level. We actively encourage schools to register multiple classes and categories.
