It's been a long time since 1995!
This is an updated version of MAGIC: THE GATHERING "SHANDALAR" from the old "Duels of the Planeswalkers" video game, circa 1995. This version has been modified to install and play on new Windows Operating systems. It been tested on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7/8/10 .

Despite the update, this game is still archaic... it was originally designed to run on DOS, and it shows. The display is hard-wired for three resolutions: 640x480, 800x600, or 1024x768. If your display is not set to one of those resolutions when the game is first executed, then it will automatically select what it feels is the best setting. It may be wrong. If you experience problems with the screen being cut-off (eg. on a 1024x600 tablet), reducing the resolution may alleviate this issue.

1.) - YOU MUST REBOOT AFTER INSTALLING AND BEFORE PLAYING for all the compatibility settings to take effect!!
2.) - Do NOT Install to a long folder path!
EXAMPLES:
"C:\Games\Shandalar2012" -GOOD!
"C:\Program Files\Shandalar2012" -GOOD!
"C:\Program Files\Magic TG Shandalar 2012" -BAD!
3.) - When Starting a new Shandalar Game, it is RECOMMENDED that you save your character's image before proceeding, or you may not have a character at all!
