For this project, I will be giving my opinion and showing facts about how I think social media impacts the world.
These are my quiz results. I am thrilled because I haven't had social media since the season started. It has helped me focus on the important things in my life, and it has allowed me to ground myself more.
I picked this research survey because in the US, adults think that social media has a more negative impact than a positive one. This just shows that the older generation is kind of looking for something to blame for the problems in the world right now.
I believe that social media has two sides: the side where people can connect, create, and make things that help people. But then there is the bad side of it. Does that make social media bad? NO. Social media has bridged so many gaps in our society today, like connecting me to people and culture that could be 1,000 miles away. But there is also a side that disconnects you from your potential by consuming other people's lives and making you wish that you had what they had. SO, in my opinion, if you have a negative relationship with social media, then it is bad. But if you have an understanding where you know that social media is just a platform where you can create and connect, then I believe it is good.
Doing this project, I learned my true feelings about social media. I like social media; it allows me to connect with people. Another thing I learned was how important your relationship with it is. Depending on your relationship with social media can dictate a lot of things on your personal life.
