TUTOR QUALIFICATIONS
Primary school tutors are fully qualified teachers with current registration and working with Children's Checks.
Secondary tutors range from fully qualified teachers to trainee teachers, recent V.C.E graduates and Tertiary Students. Fees are adjusted accordingly

SESSION FORMAT
Sessions can be conducted in person at our cosy premises in Emerald or on-line.
Session length
30mins for Prep-Year 2 students
50 mins for Years 3-6.
Secondary student sesssions are for 1 hour.
V.C.E English students are often 1 1.2 hours.
MEET AND GREET SESSIONS
All students and families can begin with a brief, individual , half-price "meet and greet" session. During this time you can get to know your tutor and discuss student's needs and goals for tutoring.
SCHEDULING AND AVAILABILITY
Most sessions occur during after school hours (3pm-6pm). Where possible we aim to give students that are below Year 3 the earlier afternoon sessions. Daytime sessions are also available, especially for homeschool support, and school refusers (School Can't students).
PERSONALISED PROGRAMS
Students engage in an individual learning plan that is designed from discussions with the student, family/guardians and class teachers (where appropriate). Tutors are available to visit local student's classrooms, to meet with and email with class teachers if required.
