Fall Training Plan
Our season training is essential to maximizing one's performance as a cross country runner. Athletes are expected to train over the Fall with our program and develop a strong aerobic foundation to support their competitions. The four main objectives of our season training are
Building base of aerobic fitness by gradually increasing mileage over time
Preparing the mind for cross country by running every day
Improving general strength and athleticism to protect the body against injury
Working to improve running technique and efficiency
Take recovery days seriously to promote healthy mental and physical development

Summer Conditioning meets Mondays and Thursdays 4-5:30 and Saturday mornings at 8:30 am. Tryouts and practices start Friday, August 8th. We'll meet from 4 - 6 pm in the HHS Track Stadium.
The Fall practice schedule is:
Monday - Friday 4-6 pm
Saturday: 8:30-10:00 am
