Hot Lunch Program 2025-26 Overview

Lunch ordering now available! To get started, register and order lunches through www.healthyhunger.ca 

Lunch Program Fast vacts:

• Lunch will be weekly on Fridays (or Thursday for select weeks) starting October 3

• Lunch rotates through 4 local vendors: Local Pizza, Subway, White Spot and K Town

• Order cut-off dates are 5 days before each lunch date (sorry, no exceptions)

• Order reminders are emailed out 2 days before the deadline each week

• In the case of a holiday or Pro-D day, the lunch date will be on Thursday instead. All menu and dates are available to order for the entire year. Payment is required at the time of ordering. Once paid, you may go into and update your order before the order deadline.

Hot Lunch Helpers Needed!

We rely heavily on volunteers to keep the hot lunch program running. Please consider donating your time to help out prepping and delivering lunches and meet other parents in the Hillcrest community. Helpers needed for 30-60 mins each week 11:00am-12:00pm.

(Fridays, and some Thursdays).

Please sign up now for hot lunch helper shifts. Sign up for one, or many. Any help is appreciated!

How to order

1. Visit www.healthyhunger.ca 

2. Select ‘Register account’’ to create your account

3. Add student(s) to their division

4. View upcoming lunch dates

5. Place orders by lunch date for each student

6. Make payment online (visa, mastercard, visa debit)

Further Information About the Hot Lunch Program

Order deadlines

Orders must be submitted and paid for 5 days before the lunch date. E.g. Sunday, Sep 29 for a Friday, Oct 4 lunch. 

Order reminders
You will receive an automated order reminder only if you have NOT submitted a lunch order (or event ticket order) 2 days before the deadline. To see what items you have already ordered, you'll need to login to your healthy hunger account.

Payment

Payment options include visa, mastercard and visa debit. No G.S.T or other taxes are being charged to you. $0.30 + 3% of the total order will be added to cover the on-line payment cost.

Complimentary Lunches

Hillcrest PAC offers complimentary lunches for families in need. If this applies to your family, please contact the school counsellor to order.

Donate a lunch

You will see a “Give a lunch” donation as part of each menu. By adding a donation to your order, you help fund lunches for families in need at our school.

Refunds/Credits

You may request a credit or refund back to the original method of payment online up until the order deadline (5 days before the lunch date) through your account on healthyhunger.ca. If you cancel past this date, you are welcome to pick up the lunch at the school before 11:30am on the lunch date or it will be donated to another student.
